Court: cocaine conspiracy cases; participating on Federal Death
Penalty case--double murder; supervised release violations; and petty
offenses. State Court: University of Virginia student accused
of felony arson (reduced to a misdemeanor), and interfaced with University
Administration to lift suspension to allow class attendance; drug distribution
and manufacturing; embezzlement; assault & battery; possession of
marijuana; driving related charges; and bond hearings. Assist student
advocate in University of Virginia Judicial Committee trials. Contract

conspiracy; supervised post release violation; participated on defense
team in a Federal Death Penalty case in the Western District of Virginia--bombing
(death averted). Federal representation in cases from petty offenses
in Magistrate Judge’s court to felonies before the District Court Judge.
State Court: successful advocacy for “alleged” cocaine distributor
to attend drug court; other cases included driving charges; bad checks;
possession of marijuana; assault & battery; prescription fraud;
malicious wounding; embezzlement; robbery; abduction; and use of a firearm.
Appeals: argued in the Court of Appeals of Virginia (felony assault
on volunteer firefighter); argued before the Supreme Court of Virginia
(murder). Civil: defended a national distributor of monument
material in local civil lawsuit; conducted deposition of local resident
for Tennessee civil case. |
