Silber & Slater is distinguished by the strengths and experience of the two law partners with their names on the door: Dana M. Slater and Alan Silber. Dana M. Slater was a local police officer in Albemarle County for eleven years, a Law Clerk to a Federal Judge Magistrate, and has appeared in state trial and appellate courts as well as in substantial federal cases in the Western District of Virginia. Alan Silber, with more than 35 years of trial experience, has defended white collar, drug conspiracy, and RICO cases in federal court around the country, and has litigated in five United States Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
